inspection due to the nature of my work. Moreover, I would have loved
to call but our satellite server has been down in recent days which

I would appreciate if you email me with more pictures (if available) too
since i won't be be able to see this in person. And if you don't have a
PayPal account, It's pretty easy to set up a PayPal account at
www.paypal.com . it's just a few minutes away from signing up. it's
safe and secure for
both Parties and i have been using PayPal to buy and sell for years
now without problems. Pls get back to me with your PayPal email so i
can proceed with the payment and contact the Pick up Agent who will
come for the Pick up of the item.

I received the exact same reply from "shanjones68@gmail.com" regarding a Craigslist post; however, the original post came from "wjuravic@sbcglobal.net".
The below is what I found on the second email address above. Not sure if they are directly connected to the scam or just had their email address hijacked. Just beware.

Received a craigslist reply from drewtav@sbcglobal.net with the "Please let me know when i can come pick it up and pay" message. When I hit reply a second to: address from jameron08@gmail.com was inserted. Looks like a scam to me.
I also received a reply to a post on craigslist with the text: "Please let me know when i can come pick it up and pay"
It was from scottcoleman99@sbcglobal.net and when I hit reply the To: address was jameron11@gmail.com (I did not actually send the email)
I just received the same to my listing on Craigslist "Please let me know when i can come pick it up and pay"
Mine was from gee-k@sbcglobal.net and the reply went to jameron08@gmail.com

unfortunately I did reply before I realized the return add. was different.
Just received the same "on vacation, no phone service" for an ad for an expensive Baker Dining Room Table. Really wanted my Paypal information, and Address. Is there anything that can be done to
catch and stop this scam. It's obviously widespread, and quite a few different addresses are being involved. Anybody out there trying to catch these thieves?
I got a similar reply to a CL ad for a living room set from reply-to address: jameron11@gmail.com, I said cash only, no reply, then I googled the email address and arrived here...scammers hate techies LOL.
Just got an e-mail w/ the jameron11 return address and from: mrx0321@sbcglobal.net in reply to a CL furnature listing. I always google e-mail addresses from CL replies, and hit this site before I hit reply.
I suspect the person w/ the from address has no* idea they are being used for the scams, so I included them in the CC. :)
As far as what you can do, if you have the header info w/ the scam reply, you can forward it to abuse@gmail.com

Just got hit with the same exact scam. I wondered when they wanted to by a 5,000 lb organ on scene and have their agent pick it up. HAHA
