i got this call from Nick Foster he said he worked for the U.S.A Goverment and he told me that the goverment gave me 5,600.00 d0llers and he worked in washington state which he does not he lives in india i sent him 210.00 dollers and and he was supposed to give me my money and he never did he told me i had to pay a service fee to reacieve the money of 300.00 i told him no i do not i called western union and they told me no i didn't ...i told him he had to pay for this and he told me that i would get my money back and i never did

i got a call from that same person and number i also sent money to him...enough is enough i filed a police report and they are looking into everything hopefully they can catch him and i also called westen union to ask if i'm suppose to get charged to receive money they said no...this is not right are fair to us... well he's gonna be in big trouble acting like he's the government

well i just got a call from some India guy saying that he was from the us government and since Ive paid taxes on time im receiving 5600 dollars.now hes telling me to go to a western union and call him back..i know its a scam so im just playing him know.i told him to send me the western union fees and ill send money and hes never called back yet.and i cant believe hes calling my cell phone,i have sprint and just wondering if there in cohort...

i got the same call but it sound like a scam but i dint give them any money but he asking me to go to the western union so he can wired me 5,600 .he still keep calling

I'm getting the call now, they say they are the US government and bla bla bla... I'm looking at the comments and I think I am going to try and get them. I will keep you posted.

I am a contractor for the federal government and I have been getting these calls. I gave them the info the first time, but shut off my card before they could take anything. Now they are telling me to go to western union. The only concern I have is that they got the last four of my social, of course they do not have the first 5 digits, so im pretty sure just the last four is unusable.

also for anyone thinking that i posed as federal government. that's not true. i am a contractor in the federal sector. i just lied about the number being traced.
i got a call on saturday 10-23-2010 the guy never stated his name just said he was calling from the us gov. saying my name had been selected to recieve 5,600 dollars he stated that the reason was that my family and i all payed our taxes on time so i said what exactly is it that i need to do he stated he needed my bank info last four numbers of my s.s i said wow r u serious.. he said "im not kidding we want ti give u this money by monday before 12 noon right then and there i knew it was a scam no one should ask anyone to send any type of money thru western union these ppl are sick and something needs to be done about all this its sad that we that work try to get taken advantage of =(... does anyone know what i can do about this???

He asked me to post it to his son's address in Manchester. He tried to get my account details. He also used 'Gumtree' as a text message sender. His email is fucking bobashley07@gmail.com
I tried to sell my mobile phone through Gumtree because I need money for my 4 year old son to buy milk and nappies, and this fucking Bob Ashley tried to steal money from my account! Beware of this type of scammers. I'm sure he will use different emails and aliases!
