yep, got an email regarding item on craig's list. sent me a check asking me to take out the amount owed plus $50 for myrunning around and wire the rest to the person who would pick up the item. Check was over amount of item by about $1300. Thank you!!! Also took it to state police who advised it was fake and to discard check and ignore emails

I have gotten the same emails as most of you on here. How he's out of town visiting his son and that he's okay with the condition of item as seen in advert. This omo amigos Omo.amigos400@gmail.com He even sent me a check for $2,450.99 for an item that I was only asking $850.00. I feel like an idiot because I did try and cash the check. Thank god I didn't deposit into my account. I went to bank that the check was made out from. They didnt cash it and they did keep the check. So at least there was no harm no foul Or at least it seems that way right now. I just wanted to add my little experience that I just had over the last 2 weeks.
