I got a message from an ipad i posted on craigslist. he said he would send via paypal and I would ship it to him. He used 2 emails: mike kilburn and mikekilburn725@gmail.com
I would have love to come up with cash but i can't due to the nature
of my job. The only means of payment here is paypal,i would have also
love to send through western union but i don't have my credit card
here to send money online,i only have access to my paypal account,if
you don't have a paypal account It is easy to get an account,just go
to www.paypal.com ,all they need from you is a valid bank account it
takes less than 3-4min to register, its reliable and secure to send
and receive money online. Please bear with me as i am willing to

I actually just talked to this guy today, he tried to scam me into sending him a phone and that he sent me the money to my paypal account, which i only received emails that did honestly look legit, i just never got anything on my paypal account so i didnt fall for it.

This guy just tried to make a deposit of $11,770 into PayPal with me today amd I knew something fishy was going on with this here so I started to do my research. the funny thing about the whole transaction is the fact that he worded it very carefully about how I need to send $700 for shipping cost via moneygram by making a copy of myMoneyGram receipt. I really thought I had my truck sold but this guy just pissed me off. I'm going to call him out for what he is scammer and if you're reading this congratulations on doing your research just like I did.

Think this might be related. Rec'd text yesterday from tiffanyrgu@gmail.com possibly in response to a Craigslist ad I had posted (??). Text stated "Hello, are you the real owner? Holla me directly on mikekilburn201@gmail.com." I ignored it and will likely send it on to abuse@gmail.com as probable scam.
I just got an email to buy a painting from mikekilburn201@gmail.com. I'm glad I did my homework. I copied the scam articles and sent it back to him and told him not to waste my time.

(I had 2 different craigslist ads) I got a text back that said "I need to talk to the seller. Pls email me now at liaxdaclisa@gmail.com" Going along with this suspocion I emailed asking what are you interested in purchasing? The response from that email said it was from Louise Thurston it said "I just had a family emergency early this Morning but will be able tosend full and direct payment through PayPal. The moment you get backto me with your PRICE and PayPal email, i will send Payment.Peace and Blessings!" I responded I still don't know what you are interested in purchasing. And the response i got was .... "Oh! Nice one. I don't know you listed many items on the site. Can youplease list them out and their prices i might want another goods withi needed." So exactly as I thought SCAM!

This is why I never use craigslist. I did it for a friend and now I get garbage scammers on my phone.
I received a text from richaldm009@gmai.com asking for the price (which was in the ad) and address of item I had posted on craigslist. I replied with price and "Item is sold". I wish their was a way to catch and put these scammers out of business..
I also received a text from 252-528-7164 with the "I'll send you a cashier's check" scam.
I got a TEXT message from an email - leroydvf@gmail.com asking me to contact them at another email - richaldm009@googlemail.com.
The text message said:
"Is that not a scratch by the side of the instrument on craigslist? Please let me know at richaldm009@googlemail.com"
I created a new email with no identifiers and emailed both emails (the text sender, and the email in the text). leroydvf@gmail.com responded with:
"Thanks for your response. Please give her a mail back on richaldm009@gmail.com"
I also received a text message from (702) 757-1406 saying:
"do you still have the Gibson Les Paul for sale ?i saw it listed on the craiglist.com.thanks chris"
So I responded with:
"Yes, I still have it. -Aaron"
Got a response:
"whats the price and i will pay you through a verified cashier check and i will pick up only when check cash ok"

I have had so many scammers come at me for this & other things I have posted I just google them first before responding because I'm usually right that they are scammers.

After I said it would be an I person cash only transaction, the person never responded.
A new post needs to be made about quinnnfox@gmail/googlemail.com. I have had texts and emails with the exact same phrasing as posted above. The incoherent English really comes out when you reply back with cash only.
I should add that quinnfox also uses liaxdacliza@gmail & parishalvin@gmail.com to make inquiries. They point back to quinnfox though.

Write back to me now on (quinnnfox@gmail.com) " I have gotten multiple scams of this type since listing a few items on CL. It's a shame there is nothing can be done with these thieves.
I also have an item listed on CL and received an email today from parishalvin@gmail.com asking for my paypal account information to send me money. The name associated with the email said Louise Ferguson. Later another email came and the name changed to Louise Thurston.

Okay, glad I googled this email address - richaldm009@gmail.com I have one ad on Craigslist and he is asking if it is still in good terms. Wants me to message him back at a different email address. Are we that stupid? I couldn't figure out how he could email to text and respond that quickly. I responded and he sent me the same two messages he originally sent. He can kiss my rearend.

I had a motorcycle listed on Craigslist for only 2 minutes before a text came on my phone asking to respond @ Charlotte Bridwell(mikekillburn542@gmail.com. Only way he could pay is with PayPal and just needed phone number, asking price and email PayPal address. He/she text me on my phone and the price was clearly stated in the ad!! Two red flags went up then and I decided to further investigate!! I just wished there is something we could do to stop these people! It gives craigslist a bad name!!
