scottmac147@hotmail.com is another one claiming to be in Afghanistan in the military and he needs this URGENTLY. Please respond. Please respond. He needs it URGENTLY. AND he's changed his mind he doesn't want to send it to his daughter he wants to send it to his cousin now. Scottmac is a buyer on ebay also. It is disgusting and a Federal offense to impersonate a soldier. It is disgusting to impersonate heroes who put their lives on the line for this country.

Amanda Taylor <sunsetnight869@gmail.com is another one. This F*#K uses the same style every time. He asks if it is available. He does not ask how much. He does not leave a phone number. If you ask for a phone number he goes into the I'll pay you more and ship it to someplace crazy and give me you PayPal address. And I'm buying it for someone else and I need it urgently. People buying from Craigslist locally want to see the item and discuss when they can see it and talk to a live person. A scam artist does not want to give you his phone number. A father looking to pay hundreds of dollars will not let his son ask for him.

Anonymous said...

In the real world a decent businessman will NOT take a check without a Driver's license so why are people accepting checks from this F*#K? Also, in the real world reputable businesses do not accept a check for more than the goods/services purchased. This is FRAUD! So, for those of you who accepted more than you should have you got punished.

riomex8 said...

Can't someone have Craigslist punish him? He has to give his info to Craigslist. He fishes around on Craigslist and he is a buyer on Ebay. Ebay has his record also.

yanniksm931@hotmail.com
Buggie Duchain
this guy is such a F*#king pain. Night and day, night and day emailing, lying, making up more and more names, causing problems. With all the time this guy spends with crap why doesn't he get a job.

riomex8 said...

Ya know, I gotta tell you these scam people are a real pain!! Every day I get three emails from the same person using a different name and 3 different email addresses asking if the item is available and oh, I think you're cute, I think you're sexy, I think you're naughty. Where do you live. Call this number and register so I know it's you. The irony is this person goes on to say there are so many liars out there and he wants to make sure I'm not a scam (when he is a liar and a scam). Now the person checks every online classified around to email me about the item for sale. The person still asks me to send my Paypal email address. That will be in every scam.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO RESPOND to the first bullcrap email because then they get your real email address. And DON'T email outside of craigslist or ebay or the classified site's email so there is documentation of the problem and they might verify the scam or help you.

Anonymous said...

Paypal doesn't verify postage. Paypal doesn't have such lousy grammar. Paypal doesn't ask you for tracking information. You should NEVER send the item BEFORE being paid. PAYPAL does not withhold money until you send the item. Paypal doesn't identify a customer by just his first name.
This F*#K always tries to pay for shipping when you DON'T even ask for it. He does NOT EVER try to bargain for a lower price no matter how expensive the item is.-?

Here's 3 more names for your list .... Mike Lamberton & John Gibson & Holarmide James

They are all scam artists (aliases) that ask for your personal email and want to buy items "sight-unseen" through eBay & Craig's List via PayPal, AlertPay, or bogus money order. I recommend shipping them a nasty note, rotten fruit, or something else offensive ... then provide them with a "tracking number" that their phony (supposed) PayPal emails (complete with bad grammar) ask for. Sit back and watch how you never get paid for the items you mailed (even if it is just rotten fruit). Neither eBay nor PayPal will help research the matter either, but you can try to forward them your complaint/email thread to spoofs@paypal.com if you like wastes of time.

One quick note ... responding to their phony "PayPal" emails takes you to a phony "PayPal" webpage where they try to get you to enter your real PayPal user ID and password so they can remotely steal this information. Their website also phishes you and further subjects you to cyber-attacks of various kinds. Lastly, if you actually make the mistake of shipping the item they requested from Craig's List or eBay, you will be out the cost of the item. PayPal will not refund you money for a transaction that never touched your PayPal account (in other words, you never really visited PayPal, you only visited their phony PayPalish website).

These people suck.

scottmac147@hotmail.com also just tried to scam me for an item. Thank god for Google and this blog! This guy is impersonating a military officer, says he is in Afganistan and needs the item shipped via USPS Global International Express mail asap for his daughter who is away at school and needs this item as a birthday present surprise asap. He asked for the PayPal email as well. This sounded super sketchy to begin with, then I Googled the email and found this. BEWARE OF THIS GUY!!

Thanks for posting and sharing this info. Just avoided this guy for the sale of a ring for $1000.

Anonymous said...

Thanks. Also, just avoided this scammer. I was also selling a ring. Here are a few other names and angles he may use. He claimed he was deaf when ask him to call so we could talk about the details of the transaction. He used the name Clarkson Wood and a cell number 234-650-7169 for texting. He sent a reply text from 720-378-7677.

Anonymous said...

Same guy just tried to scam me...texting from 720-378-7677. I ignored him. I also was selling a ring on Craigslist.

Anonymous said...

Another number that is a scammer on Craigslist is (585) 857-9359. Don't respond to any texts from this number.

I too was contacted by Scott Micheal (scottmac147@hotmail.com) for my PS4 launch edition. He said he would pay me an additional $100 to have me mail it internationally. I gave him my email for Paypal. He said he sent the funds but I do not see anything in my Paypal account. I called Paypal & they do not see any activity. I saw an email that looked like it was from Paypal & I searched using the email address in the email & found all of your posts. I texted him back saying I do not feel comfortable sending him anything & that I do not have any funds in my Paypal account. He told me that I cant have access to the account until I give Paypal a tracking number. I know this to be false. DO NOT SEND ANYTHING OR REACH OUT TO SCOTT MICHAEL!

Unknown said...

He tried sending a few other fraudulant emails that went straight to my SPAM folder saying I needed to provide shipping info & another one from a Fraud Protection until at Paypal asking me to sign up. What a scammer.

Anonymous said...

He strikes again! I was trying to sell a ring on Craigslist. He posed as a deaf man and told me it was a present for a friend. The address was in Nigeria. I suspected before, but when that came up I knew he was a fraud.

Another scam from Barry wood just tried to buy a pendant from craigslist

Unknown said...

This guy also tried to buy a ring from me about 5 min after it was posted. He used the name Christopher Johnson. I was a bit leary because he seemed demanding saying "you will do this.... Then you will do that." I have never used PayPal so I thought it may be legit. He told me to set up a PayPal account which I did. Fortunately my husband was suspicious and suggested I create a new Gmail account to use.

I'm still curious how they are scamming if PayPal offers protection. He didn't send a fake link.

Thank you for creating these warnings.

Thank you for leaving the information about Holarmide James. I almost made a decision to send my selling item after telling my paypal account information. I really appreciate this sharing warning and hope other people who are contacted by this guy will find this website before their action.

It all starts with a request on Facebook to be your friend using a private information of a "Sergeant " stationed in Kabul Afghanistan. After few messages on FB messenger, This scum bag writes anything to make you feel wanted but that is not enough, then he said :" oh babe, I really would love to hear your voice could you please request a radio communication with the Militaryhelpline@outlook.com and for a little money, we could talk"... Except, the cost of a call is $375.00 so needless to say, I do not believe this is real. We just have to be vigilant. Those dirty scum bags should be caught for what they do to the Brave soldiers giving so much for our Country. It is sick and repulsive.
